Brighton Tattoo Artists

So it's the Brighton Tattoo Convention coming up soon and Viva Brighton magazine asked me to photograph some portraits of a load of tattoo artists for their The Way We Work Featue.

I love shooting for this feature as it really allows me to be creative and capture a series of portraits, which is something that I don't often get to do.

I normally wait a while to blog images that i've just shot, however i'm really pleased with these ones and I just had to get them out there.

The idea behind these portraits was to light them all quickly and easily with one flash in their studios and make them look a bit like a classical painting. I'm really pleased with how they came out and it's just one of the techniques that I'll be teaching people on my Advanced Flash Workshop for Farm Elements. Click that link to find out more.
